Album: 9 Album by FOLA

FOLA’s upcoming album 9 arrives in 2026 as a bold, high-energy collection that blends raw lyricism with infectious hooks. The project features 14 tracks, each showcasing the Nigerian artist’s knack for blending introspective verses with catchy, genre-defying production. From the opening bars of "awade" to the collaborative fire of "2am in toronto" with Davido, the album balances personal storytelling with crowd-pleasing energy.

Standout tracks like "stubborn" and "in order" highlight FOLA’s signature confidence, while features from Ayra Starr, BNXN, and Darkoo add depth and variety. The project also includes a mix of solo-driven anthems and high-profile guest spots, ensuring a dynamic listening experience. Tracks like "my type" and "hold u down" promise both lyrical precision and rhythmic appeal, reinforcing FOLA’s growing influence in the global scene.

With a title that hints at a fresh start or a new chapter, 9 feels like a natural evolution for FOLA’s sound. The album’s tracklist suggests a balance of introspection and swagger, with each song offering a distinct flavor while maintaining a cohesive flow. Whether it’s the playful energy of "fine ting" or the reflective tone of "it’s over," the project invites listeners to dive into FOLA’s ever-expanding artistic vision.

As one of the most anticipated releases of the year, 9 is a must-follow for fans of modern African music. With its mix of solo brilliance and star-studded features, the album is poised to solidify FOLA’s place as a defining voice in contemporary hip-hop. Stay tuned for the full experience when it drops in 2026.
