Drake’s Take Care (Deluxe) remains one of his most introspective projects, and track four, “Crew Love” featuring The Weeknd, stands out as a standout moment. Produced by Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese, The Weeknd himself, and Noah “40” Shebib, the song blends raw emotion with a smooth, cinematic sound. The collaboration between the two artists shines through in its intimate delivery, capturing a moment of vulnerability and connection that feels both personal and universally relatable.

Drake and The Weeknd’s chemistry on this track is palpable, with lyrics that explore themes of loyalty and shared struggles. The track’s production—marked by lush instrumentation and a restrained yet powerful beat—creates an atmosphere that lingers long after the last note fades. Released in 2011 as part of the Take Care (Deluxe) expansion, “Crew Love” became a fan favorite, showcasing how Drake’s songwriting could seamlessly intertwine with The Weeknd’s signature moody elegance.

The track’s placement as the fourth song on the album isn’t coincidental; it serves as a pivotal moment where Drake’s introspective storytelling reaches its peak. Whether it’s the way The Weeknd’s voice weaves in or the way Illangelo’s production elevates the emotion, “Crew Love” remains a defining cut from an era that redefined Drake’s artistic growth.

Production was handled by Carlo "Illangelo" Montagnese, The Weeknd and Noah "40" Shebib.
